  1. CD Alarm Installation README:

  4. NOTE: CD Alarm will NOT install unless you have the Visual Basic
  5. 32-bit runtime library, VB40032.DLL installed in your \WINDOWS\SYSTEM
  6. directory.  If you have any 32-bit VB programs (as many people do and
  7. will), you should already have this file and can proceeed to run
  8. SETUP.EXE.  Because of the size of this file (circa 320 K compressed)
  9. and the fact that many people already have it, VB40032.DLL was not
  10. included with the CD Alarm distribution.

  12. If you do not have this file, it very easy to get.  If you are on
  13. America On-Line, Microsoft Network, Compuserve or Prodigy, you will
  14. find it in the respective software libraries of each.  You can also
  15. get this file from Microsoft's FTP site (ftp.microsoft.com), or from
  16. the CD Alarm Home Page:

  23. After you have moved VB40032.DLL into your \WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory,
  24. SETUP.EXE will proceed normally.
